Customer Cut Out Portfolios

Many companies wish to generate a cutout portfolio of laser cut designs that they can offer their customers on a variety of products. With our system, once a design is developed, that cut out can be used on different products without incurring any additional programming costs.

Some important issues must be considered;

1. When setting up a cutout portfolio and your numbering code is determined, care should be taken to assure that our numbering system works with yours.

2. The cutout must be exactly the same on all the products it is to be specified on. If there is any modification made to the cut out, it will change on all of the products it is used on. If a modification is desired on one product and not another, a new cutout should be produced and a new part number should be assigned to it.

3. When we convert your file to machine code, we place the origin of the file at the top center of the image. We do it that way so that you can tell us how far away the origin of the design is referenced from some other point. This index should be specified when you are ordering a part that uses the design.

4. More than one cutout can be used on a part. The index should be specified for each cutout.
