|
Description:
|
|
We started this project with 12 different JPEG logos. We converted the image files to
CAD data by importing the pictures into our program and tracing around the individual colors.
We then converted each color into an individual cad file and laser cut the "puzzle pieces". The veneers
we selected were aniline dyed veneer, the color goes all of the way through the veneer... so it could be
sanded the same way a normal veneer would be. The whole project save the dying of the veneer was
completed in house.

The sketch provided for Lincoln was on a stock certificate and was aproximately 4".
We scanned in the artwork and added detail to make a design that ended up around 3'.
We spent great care in selecting materials that would have just the right grain
pattern and color to make the detail look right. This work was installed in the
center of a 30' conference table for Lincoln Mututal Savings and Loan.
